Cave painting in Art

In Art this half term, we have been looking at traditional Stone Age Art work. Stone Age people used to paint pictures and symbols in caves using sticks. For paint, they used mud and sometimes fruits to make different colours. Over the past few weeks, we have looked at the types of pictures Stone Age people painted, compared painting with a stick and painting with a brush and experiemented with painting our own Stone Age pictures. Today we worked as a group to create our own cave paintings. We cheated a little bit and used paint, but we did use sticks instead of paintbrushes! Look at our fantastic work!
