Happy new year!

Welcome back! We hope you have had a lovely Christmas break. We are looking forward to an exciting term ahead, learning all about Space!

Our trip to Leicester Space Centre will take place on Wednesday 6th March 2024. It is always a firm favourite with staff and children alike. 

We also have an artist coming in to school on Friday 1st March to teach children all about Batik, which is our Art topic for after half term. This is sure to be an exciting experience for Year 5 and we can't wait to see the outcomes produced on the day!

Our PE days are the same this term: Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Remember to take out or cover earrings and tie longer hair back please. 

Spellings will be sent out by the end of the first week back and assignments have been updated on Edshed. 

Another Rocksteady battle will commence soon. Year 5 have an excellent track record so far! Let's keep this up and continue practising as much as you can at home!

This term, we will be starting to use a new Library system so books can be scanned in and out.  Our library time is still Tuesday morning and we have lots of brand new books to choose from.
