Ofsted Inspection March 2024
Highfields Primary School was inspected by Ofsted on 19th and 20th March 2024.
The purpose of this short inspection was to determine whether Highfields continues to provide a good standard of education and whether safeguarding is effective.
Because it was a shorter inspection Ofsted issue a summary letter in response to their findings. I am now able to send you the finalised Inspection Report letter, which will be published on the Ofsted website on 16th May 2024.
We really appreciate the support given to us all by parents, the children, our staff, and Governors during our Ofsted inspection. We are all incredibly proud of the children who met with the inspector, they read to him, talked to him about the school and showed the inspector their work confidently and with pride. Thank you to all the parents who completed the online survey, as your views are important to us, and the supportive comments about the school and staff, were very much appreciated. Thank you to the staff and Governing Body who also played vital roles in this outcome, being observed in class, talking about the subjects they lead and the roles they play at school with the inspector. The Inspection Report will now help us to focus on our actions for further improvements.
We are really pleased that the inspector recognised the many strengths of our school, including our enriched curriculum, our passion for providing the best outcomes for our children, and the dedication, knowledge and passion of our school team.
